"This state farm office has great employees. I’ve been with them for many years and they’re always been very helpful and provide great customer service. In this instance, I need to take the time to highlight a stellar experience I had with a rep by the name of Mary. I needed to switch my cars over to a new carrier because SF was dropping one of my cars so I needed to provide my new carrier with proof of prior coverage from SF. In my initial attempt to get proof from SF, I spoke a male rep (I did not get his name, I wish I had because he needs reeducation) who without hesitation told me he could not help me because State Farm doesn’t provide proof of prior coverage and that they can only access the declaration pages that I have on my acct dated from within the last 2 years. I found that strange. How can I pay you monthly for years yet when I need proof of coverage you can’t provide it. We ended the call and I straggled for days trying to figure out what I was going to do. I decided to call again a few weeks later and I got Mary on the phone. She is a STAR!! She worked with me for a few weeks to get me the letter I needed showing how long I’d be with State Farm. She followed up with me weekly and always maintained clear and honest communication. I cannot thank her enough for her effort. We need more Mary’s in SF! She is the example of what going above and beyond for the customer is. Huge shout out to her! Please give this girl a raise!"

"Had State Farm for 27 years. recently filed a claim where the assigned State Farm agent recommended people to help mitigate damage that elderly brought about asbestos into our home. Our policy was the abruptly cancelled without warning while this was going on. After losing our basement and inventory because of the asbestos exposure we then had a State Farm agent come to our home who laughed in our faces and called us ridiculous and wanted us to use old and damaged materials to restore our basement. Yes, a State Farm claims adjuster came to the home of someone affected by negligent asbestos and damage and laughed in their face. Do not use this agent and do not use State Farm. Get your insurance elsewhere."
