"Adam went above and beyond in helping with our policy. Incredibly responsive, when we needed updates to the policy the system didn't allow took real accountability to solve it manually almost immediately, and more importantly was super honest and personable. Probably one of the best agents I've spoken to in any business let alone insurance which is typically not known for its customer service. In a world where many insurance companies are moving to AI-only and getting rid of human agents, it feels good to know there are real people available who you can reach out to if you ever need any actual assistance with your policy. Pricewise most policies I saw were about the same with similar coverage, but Adam's service and trust developed with him was the reason we decided to go with them over other options."

"This company is an absolute SCAM!! They are leeches!! I got approved for home insurance, then a few days later they call me to say they don’t insure houses with roll roofs!! Then you should REFUND me my entire payment !! But u now put me in collections saying I OWE u additional fees???!!! I’m making several complaints about this company!! This is absolutely ridiculous"

"The most awful customer service. I’ve been with this office for a while. There was a claim submitted against me and this office never ONCE checked on me or gave me any updates on the claim. When my rate went up, I emailed them for clarification of the rates went up due to the claim or nationwide increase…I followed up and they didn’t respond to ANY of my emails. I switched to another office in Astoria this week and their customer service is SUPERIOR in every aspect. The new office calls me to give me updates, responds to emails within the same day and they helped me save money on my policy. They are both statefarm offices but clearly one of them is here to help their customers. Jim should do better in terms of email responses as he never responds to his emails. Shame they don’t help retain business"

"I have been a long time Allstate customer.I recently felt I was paying too much so I called State Farm . I called the Jim Von Eiff Agency in Maspeth NY and spoke with Richard Orgega. He was so helpfull and personable The rates were much better so I switched to State Farm. Richard has made this process so easy, it was enjoyable. I am not a very high tech person but he walked me through all the steps, and there werent many, and now I am happy to have him as my insurance agent."

"All they want to do is take your money and deny claims. Fraudulent I have been a customer since 2002 and never made a claim. Then when I have one they immediately want to deny the claim AFTER SOME CONFUSION AND MISUNDERSTANDINGS, JIM AND STEVE HAVE RESOLVED MY ISSUE AND AM GETTING MONEY TO PAY THANK YOU"

"I currently hold six State Farm policies and, over the past three years, my experiences with other State Farm offices have always been positive — responsive, cooperative, and truly helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the Jim Von Eiff State Farm office has been the complete opposite. I was assigned to a new agent who is inexperienced, does not appear to have support, and consistently takes more than three days to return even the simplest call, email, or text. In most cases, I’ve had to follow up multiple times just to receive a basic reply. Despite repeated attempts to reach out, Mr. Von Eiff himself has never responded to my messages or emails. This lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is extremely disappointing — especially for a company that emphasizes customer service. What’s most frustrating is that this office seems focused on soliciting new business, yet it does not provide existing clients with the reliable support, accuracy, or responsiveness we should expect. If you value timely communication and dependable service, I cannot recommend choosing this office."

"After shopping for a good auto Insurance rate for a really long time (as a first time vehicle owner) I finally spoke to Qindan at this StateFarm location and the experience was one of the smoothest I’ve had. She was able to answer every question and was transparent throughout and even after the process of getting auto insurance, and of course I went with them. I cannot recommend them enough."

"If you live in Maspeth or Middle Village and you need insurance DO NOT go to State Farm on Grand Avenue and 65st. There is an Allstate directly across the street, they can’t be any worse. Let me tell you what they did to my 83-year-old mother who had a State Farm policy for many years and never filed a claim. Mom had some damage to her home and submitted a claim. When she did not hear from anyone at State Farm she called them, and was told to resubmit her claim, and 7 days after the first submission she resubmitted. After 2 months of not hearing anything, she called and was told again to resubmit. The claim was resubmitted on December 19th and again on December 20th That makes 4 claims submissions. She was then dropped from her policy. I made a call to State Farm’s 800 number. They told me the decision for this policy was made at the local office and to call them. So I called the Grand Ave office to get clarification as to what happened and why she was dropped, a woman answered the phone. As I started explaining what happened she pulled the old “sir are you there”? I can’t hear you. Sir? Sir.... click. (Really?) I called right back. Got a voice mail. I left a message and asked them to call me right back – no one ever did. Still giving them the benefit of the doubt I called and left Jim Von Eiff a message – again explaining the issue and asking for clarification – again no call back. One last time, got Jim’s voice mail, left a message and no return call. Do your self a favor, find another insurance company or at least another agent. These people are probably great when it comes to signing you up but miserable when it comes to service. Lets just say Jim Von Eiff is no Jake from State Farm and unlike a good neighbor, Jim is never there! Go somewhere else!"

Whenever I have questions/issues, all I have to do is email Qindan and she will handle everything for me. She is very patient, responsive and professional.
